Shot per day to expect-it all depends on the hunter and dogs. If it's beautiful weather and the hunter gets on the dogs, shots can be as many as 300 rds per day. Cleaning copper out of the barrels every 30 rds can handicap that but Accuracy is highly important in this game. If you are looking for JUST short shots all day long from 100~200 yards,PLEASE I beg of you,CHOOSE another GUIDE,,I am a Long Range Teacher and push to teach you Long Range so you learn how To shoot Prairie~Dogs properly so all YOUR hunts make you happy!!! I want you to leave here with this hunt being the most fun & exciting times you ever had!!! If you look for close range SHOTS and nothing more,you will be "Greatly Disappointed Hunting Here"!! If we have close Shots,then naturally we take them,But I WILL NOT MOVE my trailers,just cause you paid good money,we will do this RIGHT or none at all!! Absolutely no Lrge guns allowed.(300 win mag & up. Also No full metal jacket bullets. They dont expand and wounded dogs go to the hole. I get so so many calls that are so excited about going, then after the phone call, interest dwindles I guess, simply cause I don't get a follow up phone call if I have sent suggested hunt dates.If I give you hunt dates to consider, please be considerate and return a call to me, even if you can't make the dates work out. I sure do appreciate it. Weather related hunts that are rained out or to windy,we just rebook it at no cost. Prairiedog shooting is classed as Long Range Shooting,that's what I excel in and have a great deal to offer you!!!! We do long range and teach just that.Please try to excel at this because short shots are not always steady constantly.On New dog towns they can be a lot,but learn to be a better shooter,its really quite easy. We build great shooters here,we want you to excel in your shooting ability!! I get ask all the time,can we move closer? The answer is NO always,I train good shooters and will not move all over my good dog towns to give or try to give CLOSE SHOTS!! Serious Note: Please Read!! Moving closer ALWAYS upsets the dogs and can lead to them going under ground!.Please understand,my books stay full most all the time~I always have 50 to 70 shooters that can't go,due to books being full,that want to learn LONG RANGE SHOOTING!!! Please I beg you to try other outlets that drive all over and ruin their dog~towns by doing so,to please you.I am very easy going,but I have build this up from the ground and my reputation of being fair & honest will NOT be tarnished by moving around on the dogs!!!
